A documentary series about Ben’s epic swim across the Pacific Ocean is being developed by Emmy Award winning producer, Doug Stanley.
Doug has acted as producer of many top shows such as Discovery Channel’s hit show “Deadliest Catch”, Animal Planets “Last American Cowboy”, Discovery’s “Lobster Wars”, and CMT’s “American Soldier” as well as many others. Doug has received two Primetime Emmy nominations as a Producer for “Outstanding Series”. As a visual story teller, Doug often serves a dual role on the shows he produces, also acting as the series Director of Photography.
For “Outstanding Cinematography” Doug has earned 5 Primetime Emmy Nominations in the last five years and was honored with an Emmy Award in 2008 and 2011 for his work on “The Deadliest Catch.”
